Rich Petronzi

Barback, Bartender - Living Room, W. South Beach

Rich (Richie) Petronzi is from Rockland County, NY. He grew up in the hospitality industry on the Jersey Shore before migrating to Miami Beach, where he first worked as a Barback and Bartender at Rumi. He was then offered a job to work with Morgans Hotel Group at Skybar in the iconic Shore Club hotel. There, Richie quickly realized he knew little about bartending beyond slinging drinks.

He was committed to furthering his cocktail education and attended seminar after seminar, eventually coming into his own and beginning work as a brand ambassador for Martin Miller's Gin and, eventually, Altamar Brands. He actively continued to design drink menus for Shore Club and various events and venues around the Miami area. He credits his success as a mixologist to surrounding himself with the best bartenders in the industry. He has since been working at Living Room, located in the brand new W South Beach, alongside the mixologists from Bar Lab. All the while, Richie has fun creating cocktails for the cocktail competitions around the country.
